Despatch Team Leader

We are looking for a Team Leader to join our despatch department to lead the team in picking, checking and loading our produce for onward delivery.


 

You will be required to undertake the following duties:

 

  • To organise the team in picking the correct stocks for delivery according to date codes consignment numbers and customer orders.
  • To assist in the checking and loading of products where necessary.
  • To organise and/or shunt HGV trailers on and off loading bays.
  • To input information into the customer computer systems and produce documentation for delivery and traceability purposes.


 

Applicants must have a forklift licence and preferably some shunting experience of HGV’s. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate some experience of leading a team and be computer literate in Mircrosoft Excel and customer own systems.


 

The role will involve working 5 days out of 7 on a rotational basis. 4pm – 1am, although start and finish times can vary during busier periods. 

Overtime days may also be available. An excellent salary, pension and 31 days holiday would be available.
